Pharoahe Monch Releases First Track From New Album

It’s been three years since Pharoahe Monch’s last album, Desire. Lucky for hip-hop fans, the monster of the mic is back with a new album, W.A.R. (We Are Renegades), out this fall. Culture Bully posted the first track from Monch’s upcoming album, “Shine.” Monch, in classic form, gives us an urban odyssey backed by skittering snare drums, vibes and sultry, soulful vocals from the highly talented MeLa Machinko, a regular collaborator with Monch.

W.A.R. (We Are Renegades) drops Sept. 14 on Monch’s label, W.A.R. Media.
