Listen to the Unofficial Seinfeld Soundtrack
It’s a soundtrack…about nothing! David Oliver, quizmaster for the recent NYC Seinfeld Trivia Tournament held by Trivia, A.D. in New York, has put together a streamable soundtrack of songs featured in Seinfeld.
While Jonathan Wolff’s punchy slap-bass theme song is instantly recognizable, the rest of the songs conjure up more obscure moments from the show’s run. There’s Harry Nilsson’s “Everybody’s Talkin’,” sung by George after he supposedly buys Jon Voight’s former car, and Jackie Davis’ “Manana” which appears when Kramer and Newman cook sausages in “The Blood” episode. And of course, you can’t help but do a few Elaine-inspired thumbs-up dance moves to Foghat’s “Slow Ride.”
Although there’s no official Seinfeld soundtrack, all of the songs in Oliver’s playlist appeared during the show’s nine-season run. Stream the full soundtrack here.
