Watch a New Video For The Books' "A Cold Freezin' Night"

As if the two early-released, downloadable-for-free singles from The Books’ upcoming The Way Out weren’t enough to get excited about, the band has also created a dizzying, jumbled video for “A Cold Freezin’ Night.”

The video, made by the cut-and-paste sample kings Nick Zammuto and Paul de Jong themselves, features sliced and diced scenes of children at play and random sinister images, well-suited to the dark and compelling nature of the song itself.

The Way Out will be released July 20 on Temporary Residence. Fans can download both new tracks “A Cold Freezin’ Night” and “Beautiful People” for free on The Books’ website.
