As CBS prepares to bring its “Shit My Dad Says” Twitter adaptation to television this fall, there have been some last-minute casting changes. According to Vulture, William Shatner is still set to play the 74-year-old snarky, know-it-all father, but he will now be joined by Jonathan Sadowski, who will replace Ryan Devlin as the struggling writer who is forced to move in with his father.
The pilot for the series (the only episode shot with Devlin) was produced by David Kohan and Max Mutchnick (Will & Grace). The 29-year-old “Shit My Dad Says” Twitter account creator, Justin Halpern, co-wrote the script with Patrick Schumacker.
