Yoda lends his voice to GPS. Awesome, it is.
Driving around town, some people just let the Force be their guide. But for those of us who are a little more directionally challenged, we can now go to Master Jedi Yoda for instruction.
Fictional characters like Homer Simpson and Bob Dylan* have already lent their voices to GPS, but VoiceSkins has just added the 900-year-old—um, what species is he, anyway?—as an option, along with Star Wars characters Darth Vader and C-3P0 at VoiceSkins.com or TomTom.com/starwars
“Right you should turn, then sharp left…control, control, if a Jedi, you wish to be,” says the disembodied “species unknown” (thanks, Wikipedia). “After 200 yards turn right… then bear left but not to the darkside. Your destination you have reached. Powerful you have become. Remember the Force will be with you always.”
