Zach Galiafinakis' Comedy of E-Mail Errors Gets Picked Up By DreamWorks

Maybe the mind-control tactics his character uses in Dinner For Schmucks are working.

On the heels of the opening of Schmucks this weekend, goofball Zach Galifianakis has a string of upcoming comedies, including Due Date with Robert Downey Jr. and It’s Kind of A Funny Story. Now, as his star-power has grown as massive as his luscious beard, he’s a force at the executives’ table as well.

According to, DreamWorks, the studio behind Schmucks, has bought Reply All, a comedy pitched by, produced by and starring Galifianakis, who will play a guy who must deal with the consequences after hitting the “Reply All” button on a very confidential e-mail while at work.

Phil Johnston, who penned the upcoming Miguel Arteta comedy Cedar Rapids, will write the script and executive produce.
