Black Lips, Vivian Girls, Strange Boys to Set Sail on Bruise Cruise

By the time February rolls around, even those of us in relatively balmy climes are ready for a little warmth. At that point in late winter, few things sound more enjoyable than three days spent cruising from Miami to the Bahamas. Perhaps the only thing that could sound better would be to throw in a bunch of raucous concerts and open-bar parties on said cruise. Lucky for us (and those who suffer actually-harsh winters), there’s the Bruise Cruise Festival, a 400-person cruise just like the one described, that will take place Feb. 25-28, 2011.

The inaugural Bruise Cruise will feature the Black Lips, Vivian Girls, Strange Boys, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Turbo Fruits and DJ Mr. Jonathan Toubin. Details are still hazy, but are forthcoming via the Bruise Cruise Festival website. Get excited, folks.
