City Slang to Celebrate Anniversary with Broken Social Scene, Calexico, Yo La Tengo

The folks at City Slang know how to party. When the German indie label celebrates its 20th anniversary this fall, they’ll be bringing in the likes of Broken Social Scene, Calexico, Menomena and Yo La Tengo for three nights of performances that take place the weekend of Nov. 19.

The festivities will kick off at Berlin’s Admiralspalast theater with Calexico playing 2003’s Feast of Wire in its entirety followed by a set from locally-based rock collective The Notwist (who will perform 2002’s Neon Golden) and Get Well Soon, according to Pitchfork. Broken Social Scene, Menomena and Tortoise will perform the following night, while Lambchop, Alexi Murdoch and Yo La Tengo are scheduled to play closing sets on Nov. 21.
