Paste recently named Zoe Lister-Jones one of our Best of What’s Next, and indeed, it seems the promising actress-filmmaker is filling the role quite nicely. Fox Searchlight has just bought her comedy pitch Motherfucker, which filmmaking-partner Daryl Wein will direct.
Lister-Jones and Wein both starred in their 2009 comedy, Breaking Upwards, which Lister-Jones wrote and Wein directed.
Variety reports that Motherfucker tells the story of a man who falls in love with a woman—and, subsequently, the woman’s mother.
