Jay-Z has been hinting at a book deal since last summer, but if you’ve been waiting with bated breath, you can breathe easy now: His 336-page memoir, Decoded, will be in bookstores Nov. 16.
The illustrated (!) book, which was co-written by former The Source editor Dream Hampton, will be published by Random House imprint Spiegel & Grau. The book is already listed and priced for a hefty $40 on Random House’s website.
Decoded will detail the stories behind some of Jay-Z’s lyrics and creative process, as well as his childhood and journey to fame, Rolling Stone reports.
