Warner Bros. recently gained the rights to produce a biopic of the late John Belushi’s life, according to The Hollywood Reporter. What’s more, Steven Conrad is set to write the screenplay (The Pursuit of Happyness) and Todd Phillips will produce (The Hangover).
Belushi, best known for his comedy roles on Saturday Night Live, in The Blues Brothers, and National Lampoon’s Animal House died in 1982 at the too-soon age of 33.
No actor has yet been named for the role of Belushi.
