Kanye West rhymes “Socrates” and “chocolatey” and, as previously heard at Facebook HQ, “Nobu” with “Whole Foods” on “See Me Now,” the second track revealed from The Album Formerly Known As Good Ass Job.
West, No I.D. and Lex Luger produced the track, which features some powerful guest vocals from Beyoncé and R&B singer Charlie Wilson.
But the rumor about Yeezy’s new album that has the interwebs a-buzzin’ this morning is of a collaboration of a very different nature. According to Stereogum, there might be a track featuring Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, with rumors about the collaboration ranging from Vernon being flown out to ‘Ye’s studio to record to the rapper wanting to use “a well known Bon Iver song” as a sample on the album. Either way, we’re excited.
In the meantime, a clip of another new track, “I’m So Appalled,” aired on Hot 97 yesterday, and you can check that one out here.
The album drops Nov. 16, about a month after its original release date. You can listen to and download “See Me Now” at Kanye’s blog, UniverseCity.
