Tim Kasher, he of Cursive and The Good Life fame, will release his first solo full-length, The Game of Monogamy, Oct. 5 on Saddle Creek.
Omaha-native Kasher trekked northwest to the nippy mountainside of Whitefish, Mon. to record The Game of Monogamy last fall. The record marks his first go at writing, recording and producing an entire album under his own name.
Fellow Cursive members Patrick Newbery and Matt Maginn (tackling some trumpet/keys and drums/bass duties, respectively) lend a hand to Kasher with his upcoming record. Minus the Bear’s Erin Tate and members of the Glacier National Symphony also make cameos.
Monogamy’s first single, “Cold Love,” is available for listening here.
