Our Favorite #changeselftoelf Tweets So Far

It’s Monday morning, and chances are you might be having a little trouble dragging yourself back into work mode. Perfect time for a hashtag, right? This time around, pointless but amusing Twitter wordplay is taking perfectly respectable and meditative lyrics and making them fantastical and a bit silly with #changeselftoelf. Kickstarted by Paste-favorite Amanda Palmer, the collection transcends the boundaries of music and has stretched to include books, sayings and more in addition to lyrics and song titles. The possibilities are basically endless; the tag rocketed into the worldwide trending topics before it took a steep nosedive back into oblivion. But despite the obvious winners (Billy Idol, The Divinyls), there are some other greats. Check below for a few of our favorites so far:
