Kanye West Explains Bon Iver Collaboration

Kanye West Explains Bon Iver Collaboration

Yesterday, we told you there were rumors flying around the interwebs about a possible collaboration between Kanye West and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon on a track on the upcoming Album Formerly Known As Good Ass Job.

Well, as Mr. West told Rolling Stone, this is an actual thing that is happening.

West says he flew Vernon out to the studio in Hawaii where he was recording the new album and asked him to re-record the vocals from the Blood Bank EP track “Woods” for West’s song “Lost in the World.”

“We ended up becoming like really good friends, playing basketball together everyday, and going into the back studio and just record his parts,” West told Rolling Stone. “He’s similar to me, like where he just does shit just so people would be like, ‘Oh shit how did you do that? How did that happen?’”
