Apparently, everyone’s getting a blog this week. The folks at Ticketmaster just unveiled one called Ticketology, which aims to explain changes to their business.
The first post kicks off with the following nugget: “We get it – you don’t like service fees. You don’t like them mostly because you don’t understand what the heck they are for.”
Those of us who understand what service fees are for but still hate spending the money on them will apparently have to wait for subsequent posts for satisfaction. Also, predictably, the blog does not allow comments.
In addition to telling you up front how much you’ll be spending on a ticket, the company will now also offer a three day return policy for events taking place in Live Nation venues. Customers will have three days to return a ticket up to a week before the event.
Follow Ticketology for more updates from CEO Nathan Hubbard.

Wow! $45 to sit on the law to see Jack Johnson from a mile away! Count me in.
A blog with no comment section? Useless.
I wish they'd explain how come when I buy tickets at the exact second they go on sale I often can't get anything closer than like mid house.
