Update: Weezer Considering Blue Album/Pinkerton Tour

Update: Apparently the plan has been upgraded: “We have this really exciting idea to do a tour where we spend two nights in each city, and the first night, we play the entire Blue album, and the second night, we play the entirety of Pinkerton…” Rivers Cuomo told MTV. “We’re just running it by promoters right now to see if there’s sufficient interest in the markets to do something like that, and if they’re on board, it’s gonna happen.” There’s no way there could possibly not be interest in this, right?

Fans of Weezer’s Pinkerton may get a chance to hear the album live in its entirety soon. While being interviewed at the Mile High Festival, guitarist Brian Bell spoke of a possible tour where the band would play the album, which is getting the reissue treatment on Oct. 5.
