Fox Cancels Lone Star After Two Episodes

Lone Star, we hardly knew ye.

Fox has officially yanked the con-artist drama from its Monday night schedule after a mere two episodes.

The series earned some high praise from critics, but it only managed to lure four million viewers for its premiere last week. After the second episode only brought in 3.2 million, Fox execs decided to pull the plug.

Production on the show will cease immediately, according to a statement from a Fox spokesperson, who says, “We will have shot five completed episodes after the pilot and will not complete principal photography on episode 106.”

No word on whether the remaining episodes will air or not.
