Head Underwater Yoko Ono Remix Competition

Head Underwater Yoko Ono Remix Competition

Jimmy Morris, the man behind the music blog Head Underwater, took Yoko Ono’s recent, um, performance at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and worked it into another opportunity for folks to get creative.

The self-proclaimed music Evangelist invited his blog and Twitter’s audience to pull the audio for Ono’s piece and remix it into a song. Morris offered $50 in Amazon.com cash to whoever churns out whatever he deems the best reinvention.

Oh, and in addition to the digital dough, Morris plans to award the winner something perhaps more valuable—the big-shot blogger’s endorsement of the winner’s personal project (be it a blog, music, etc.).

Deadline is Sept. 23. Morris asks all entries go to his SoundCloud drop-box.
