Iron Maiden Singer Nails Job at British Airline

Bruce Dickinson, beastly metalhead, former frontman of Iron Maiden and … long-time pilot gets a promotion.

The raucous rocker now boasts the title as marketing director of Astraeus, a Gatwick Airport-based charter airline in London.

“In a demanding industry he is a man who can cope with pressure,” Astraeus’s chief commercial officer, Shaun Monnery told the Guardian. “Whether as a 757 captain or in front of 50,000 Iron Maiden fans, or senior airline and aviation managers.”
