That Jack White sure is one for contraptions. When he’s not showing off his Tesla coil, he’s bringing a new type of record into the world.

White recently revealed that the newest Dead Weather single will be released on a “Triple Decker Record.” The triple decker consists of a 7” single embedded inside of a 12”.

Only 300 copies of the single, “Blue Blood Blues” off of Sea of Cowards, will be pressed. The first 100 will be available for purchase at White’s Third Man Records store in Nashville, while the next 200 will be randomly distributed to various independent record stores. Very Willy Wonka of you, Mr. White.
