Joaquin Phoenix to Appear on Letterman ... Again

Considering “rapper” Phoenix’s last go-‘round on Letterman in February 2009, a do-over probably wouldn’t be the worst idea.

Phoenix visits Letterman again Sept. 22, presumably in support of the upcoming documentary following his transition from actor to hip-hopper, I’m Still Here.

The Casey Affleck production has played the brunt end of some jokes and such, but Affleck asserts the doc is not a hoax.

CBS even lets everyone play catch-up with the whole Phoenix-Letterman relationship by re-airing the February 2009 episode Sept. 16.
