Muzzle of Bees Releases Wilco Summerteeth Tribute Album With All Wisconsin Artists

Ryan Matteson, operator of Wisconsin-based music blog Muzzle of Bees, announced Wisco: A Tribute to Wilco’s Summerteeth available for streaming or download.

Wilco’s third full-length Summerteeth struck a chord within Matteson, existing as an album he says he couldn’t live without.

As an ode to one of his desert island records as well as the wealth of talent within his state of Wisconsin, Wisco had been in the works for the past two years, as reported on dane101. Each artist chose the song they wanted to pay homage to and recorded it on their own, handing in the completed ditty to Matteson.

Dan Brielmaier crafted the album art and Justin Perkins took on mastering duties.

Juniper Tar, Decibully and Surgeons in Heat are just three of the 15 different bands and artists featured on the compilation.
