NBC Readying "Adult Harry Potter" Series With BSG Creator?

Start practicing your spells: Deadline is reporting that Ronald D. Moore is developing a new series for NBC.

The drama is described as “an adult Harry Potter” that takes place in a magical world, and Deadline TV editor Nellie Andreeva writes that the show “got pilot and series penalties totaling close to $2 million.”

Moore, who signed a two-year deal with Sony TV in May, is known for his SyFy series Battlestar Galactica and Caprica. No word on when the NBC series is set to air.
