NoiseTrade's NoiseMakers Campaign Offers 25 Free Songs

We’ve long admired the folks at NoiseTrade, a website that helps indie artists distribute their music directly to the fans. It’s been a labor of love for singer/songwriter Derek Webb, former Paste VP Joe Kirk and the rest of the NoiseTrade team. They’d like to make some significant technical upgrades to their service, and they’d like you to help.

The NoiseMakers Campaign is taking donations of any amount in exchange for a 25-song sampler that includes artists like Kate York, Katie Herzig, Matthew Perryman Jones, Derek Webb, Sandra McCracken, Trent Dabbs, Thad Cockrell and Mikky Ekko. You can get the sampler without donating, but we suggest you tip your server generously.

“I can’t imagine my little indie world without NoiseTrade,” says singer/songwriter Katie Herzig. “It fills the very large gap between the formal record releases and going door to door with a karaoke machine and clipboard. I really hope people will get behind this campaign, as NoiseTrade has already gotten behind so many artists and music lovers.”
