Deadline reports that Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Robert DeNiro and Martin Scorsese may be teaming up for an upcoming film. You’ll never believe this, but it’s a mafia movie!
Pacino and Pesci are in talks to join De Niro in the cast of The Irishman. Scorsese will direct the project, which is based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses and chronicles the life of mob hitman Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran and his involvement in the murder of Jimmy Hoffa.
If this flick comes to fruition, it’ll be a family reunion of sorts. Pacino and De Niro have worked together in Heat and Righteous Kill, and De Niro has worked with Pesci and Scorsese on Casino, Goodfellas and Raging Bull.
