Watch Pavement on Last Night's Colbert Report

After an 11 year break, we think it’s safe to say Pavement’s reunion was pretty stellar news for classic indie-rock fans young and old.

Last night, Stephen Malkmus and the rest of his crew appeared on The Colbert Report in promotion of their greatest-hits comp Quarantine The Past: Greatest Hits 1989-1999 and of course, their ongoing tour.

The floppy-haired Malkmus indulged in an awkward Q&A with Colbert and the group performed “Gold Soundz.” The latter you can watch below.
