Robot Chicken Creators Plan to Launch Reality TV to a Whole New Creepy Plane

Seth Green and Matthew Senreich created ControlTV, an interactive digital reality series.

ControlTV places the audience in complete control of a show for the first time ever, and we are eager to learn what they will decide for our protagonist,” Green told The Hollywood Reporter.

That’s right. Online viewers vote on all major decisions throughout the day of the 20-something guy ControlTV follows. Everything from the clothes he dons to the women he dines is totally up to viewers.

“This show combines the voyeuristic pleasure of reality TV with the experience of control we get from video games,” Saperstein told The Hollywood Reporter. “Plus, it’s all going to play out in real time. The concept takes interactivity to a whole new level, and we think it will be highly addictive.”

Green and Senreich partnered up with Ford and Sprint Nextel for embedded advertisement. Meaning, the guy drives a 2011 Ford Fiesta and talks on a Sprint phone throughout the show.

ControlTV kicks off this fall on DBG Video Network.
