Girl Talk Releases Documentary, Plays a Few Shows

If you were wondering how this all came together, you can thank filmmaker JP Coakley, who shot and edited a Girl Talk behind the scenes mini-documentary of sorts, which he recently uploaded on YouTube. His work, just around a half-hour long and all available on YouTube, features footage from before, during and after a set, along with interviews and some pertinent background.

“There’s 4,500 people attending a show on New Year’s Eve,” says Gillis towards the beginning of the mini-doc, but even that doesn’t cause the full impact of the performance he’s undertaking to sink in. For that, you have to watch the rest. Check out the three videos and a very select smattering of upcoming Girl Talk tour dates, below:
