Iron Man 3, The Avengers Release Dates Announced

If you can’t get enough Iron Man, you’re in luck: Everyone’s favorite wiseass billionaire will be back on the silver screen not once, but twice in the coming years.

Robert Downey Jr. will reprise his superhero role in The Avengers, out May 4, 2012 and in Iron Man 3, which rolls into theaters on May 3, 2013.

The movies are the first two Marvel flicks that will be distributed by Disney. Disney bought Marvel Entertainment last year and purchased the rights to the two films from Paramount for a hefty $115 million.
