Neil Patrick Harris to Make Film Directorial Debut

Neil Patrick Harris will reportedly step behind the lens and make his film directorial debut.

NPH, who recently directed an episode of How I Met Your Mother, will helm Aaron and Sarah, an independent romantic comedy.

The movie will feature Emma Roberts and Josh Hutcherson as the title characters and follow the pair’s relationship over the course of four years, four different proms and a funeral.

Chad Gomez Creasey and Dara Resnik Creasey, the duo behind Pushing Daisies, penned the script. No word on a potential release date.
