Patton Oswalt Developing New Fox Sitcom

Funnyman Patton Oswalt has joined forces with Mr. Show writer Scott Aukerman to write and executive produce a single-camera comedy for Fox.

The series, which is projected to run 30 minutes an episode, follows Oswalt’s character whose wife of 20 years left him, urging him to try out life in the dating world again. Producers include 20th Century Fox TV and American Work Inc.’s Scot Armstrong and Ravi Nandan. There’s no word on series title or debut as of yet.
