Steven Spielberg to Direct Bee Gees Biopic?

The Daily Mail reports that Steven Spielberg will helm an upcoming Bee Gees biopic.

“The movie is going to be done by some very important people,” Robin Gibb told the paper. “It will be our life story. Barry and I will be involved in the technical side.”

There’s no word on a release date for the movie or when it’s set to start filming, but one thing’s for sure: no actors will be imitating the Bee Gee’s classic falsetto. “I’d like our original recordings to be used, because it’s very hard to emulate them,” Gibb said.

Guess that means Jimmy Fallon won’t be considered for the role. Bummer.
