Twitter Announces Country-Specific Advertising

Twitter CEO Dick Costolo recently revealed that we can expect to see country-specific advertising on Twitter “early next year.”

The Promoted Tweets and Promoted Trends features will feature unique content depending on where users live. The company also plans on opening up some international offices across the globe in the near future.

Despite being the #3 social networking site, Twitter currently only has one office, located in San Francisco.
