Not long ago, we attempted to shine a light on the rising popularity of vampires in our society and culture at large. (Thanks a lot, Stephenie Meyer.) But now, an equally terrifying group of mythical creatures is eating vampire brains for breakfast: zombies.

At the forefront of this movement is AMC’s The Walking Dead, which premieres Sunday. If you’re anything like us and can’t wait two more days, you’re in luck: AMC is offering a just-under-five-minute sneak peek of the series’ first episode, “Days Gone Bye.” Watch below:
