Last night, The Simpsons traded their usual couch-hopping fare for a grim look at sweatshop labor, courtesy of the mysterious British graffiti artist Banksy.
The intro starts out normal enough and includes some relatively subtle Banksy tags, but things take a turn for the depressing when we see laborers in an Asian sweatshop slaving over Simpsons merchandise—at one point grinding up kittens to make Bart Simpson dolls.
The clip is believed to be a response to reports that the show outsources much of its animation to a company in South Korea.
