Tired Pony jammed “Dead American Writers” from their latest album on The Late Show with David Letterman late last week.

Haven’t heard of Tired Pony? Understandable, but the band includes R.E.M.‘s Peter Buck and Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody, so you may want to watch.

“Writers” comes from their latest album The Places We Ran From out on Fiction. You can pick up a copy of the record here. M. Ward, Zooey Deschanel and Editors frontman Tom Smith also make appearances on the full-length.
