Yoko Ono brought some celeb-heavy show to Los Angeles this weekend.
Special guests Iggy Pop, RZA, members from Sonic Youth, Tune-Yards and Lady Gaga each penned a new verse for the performance. Lady Gaga’s included a fervent repetition of “gays in the military.”
This weekend marks the kick-off of a string of honorary events celebrating what would have been John Lennon’s 70th birthday Oct. 9.
