Daniel Day-Lewis to Portray Abraham Lincoln

Daniel Day-Lewis has reportedly signed on to play Abraham Lincoln in an upcoming Steven Spielberg biopic.

Liam Neeson was previously attached to tackle the role of our nation’s 16th president, but he backed out over the summer, saying the movie was past his “sell-by date.” Now that Day-Lewis has stepped into the role, filming is set to begin next fall.
