Dolly Parton Announces New Album, World Tour

Country legend Dolly Parton has taken to her website to announce that she has a new album coming in 2011.

The as-yet-untitled album will be released on Parton’s label, Dolly Records. According to a statement on her website, it’ll feature “new compositions from Dolly that have never been heard before.”

Parton will also be doing a little globe-trotting in support of the new release. She’ll kick off a U.S. tour in the summer before moving on to Europe and Australia in the fall. No specific dates are available as of yet, but be on the look-out for updates on her site in the coming weeks.
