Ghostbusters 3 to Start Filming in May 2011?

Ray Parker, Jr., get ready for some royalties headed your way: Production on Ghostbusters 3 is rumored to start in May 2011.

While the plot will reportedly center around a new, younger crop of Ghostbusters, stars Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis and Ernie Hudson will all return for the flick. Ivan Reitman will direct.

Murray was a question mark for a while after he trashed the script being penned by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. Aykroyd has since taken over screenwriting duties for the movie, which begs the question: If your sequel’s bad, and your script ain’t good, who you gonna call? DAN AYKROYD!
