The Clash’s Joe Strummer will serve as the subject of an upcoming biopic called Joe Public.
British production company Film4 will tackle the life story of the punk icon, who’s already been the subject of two documentaries. There’s no word yet on who will star as Strummer.
The movie will be penned by Paul Viragh, who also wrote the Ian Dury biopic Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll. Damian Jones and Simon Halfon will produce the film.
