Natalie Portman Pens "Female Equivalent to Superbad"

Natalie Portman Pens "Female Equivalent to <em>Superbad</em>"

Natalie Portman has teamed up with her college buddy Laura Moses to write a bawdy comedy film. Folks who have read the script are calling it a “female-themed Superbad,” according to 24 Frames.

The film has been dubbed BYO (“Bring Your Own”). The plot follows two mismatched twentysomething women fed up with the dating game. They then devise the plan to host a party in which each female attendee is required to bring along one eligible bachelor. Apparently, robust raunch follows.

The two have been running the screenplay by various studios, scoping out prospects.

It’s rumored that Portman will play one of the lead roles and Anne Hathaway has expressed interest in the other.

BYO marks Portman’s first go crafting a full-length film’s script.
