NBC Finally Bringing Parks and Recreation Back
After much contemplation, NBC has announced an all-comedy three-hour block on Thursday nights. Among the rearranging, NBC assigned Parks and Recreation the 9:30 p.m. slot, kicking off its third season Jan. 20 when the new format goes into effect.
Community and The Office will remain at their 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. air times, respectively. The newcomer series Perfect Couples, is slated to air in between the two staples. Following Parks will be 30 Rock, with its new late-night slot at 10 p.m. After that comes Outsourced at 10:30 p.m.
The Thursday night renovation comes as part of a rather large NBC mid-season scheduling change-up. You can read more about the new lineup here.
