Paul McCartney to Appear on SNL in December

Former bass-playing Beatle Paul McCartney will serve as musical guest on the Dec. 11 episode of Saturday Night Live.

This will be Sir Paul’s third time performing on the show. He’ll reportedly be performing tracks from Band on the Run to celebrate the deluxe reissue of the album, which is out now.

There’s no word as to whether or not he’ll appear in any sketches. Paul Rudd will host the episode. While you set your DVR, check out this classic clip of McCartney being interviewed by Chris Farley on the show in 1993.
