PJ Harvey to Release New Album on Valentine's Day

British rocker PJ Harvey has revealed plans to drop her latest full-length effort, Let England Shake, on Valentine’s Day.

Flood produced England, Harvey’s first solo album since 2007’s White Chalk. A portion of the album was recorded live in a Dorset church. Guest appearances by Mick Harvey (former Bad Seeds member) and Jean-Marc Butty are featured. “I didn’t set down any rules,” Harvey told NME. “For some reason, we were all in a very good place, with a lot of energy, intensity and vitality in us at that time. It was a really enjoyable experience, and I think the record’s ended up full of energy and quite an uplifting experience because of it.”
