The White Stripes to Record New Album?
It’s been three long years since Jack and Meg White released Icky Thump, but a new White Stripes album could soon be headed our way.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Jack White hinted that the duo may be recording some new material.
“We thought we’d do a lot of things that we’d never done: a full tour of Canada, a documentary, coffee table book, live album, a boxset,” he said. “It was one long project that took almost three years. Now that we’ve gotten a lot of that out of our system, Meg and I can get back in the studio and start fresh.”
If you can’t wait for a new White Stripes album (and happen to have a spare $500 sitting around), you can also pick up their massive vinyl box set that includes a portable record player beginning Dec. 1.
