Thom Yorke plans to combine 2,000-people’s-worth of Radiohead fandom with his own personal fandom of climate-campaign organization 350 EARTH in the form of a human sculpture.
It begins this Saturday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. at a yet-unnamed location in Brighton, England.
Yorke issued this call to arms (and legs and other body parts) on Radiohead’s website:
WANTED 2000 people who want to be part of human King Cnut type image facing the sea that is visible from space as part of the Earth350
The charity 350 EARTH aims to bring global warming awareness into sharp focus through massive worldwide public art installations.
