It’s no secret that Spike Jonze loves Arcade Fire, so it’s hardly surprising that he directed the band’s latest video.
Jonze’s video for “The Suburbs” features a group of teenagers in (you guessed it) the suburbs hanging out, wrestling and generally goofing off before things take a dark turn and we see that they’re actually living in some bizarre military state. They’re subjected to raids, one of them gets arrested and general creepiness ensues. Watch below.
