Apple Sending iTunes Users Free Movie Rental Codes

Apple has reportedly been e-mailing thousands of random iTunes users free movie rental codes in an effort to promote their rental service.

The codes, good for one movie rental, are valid for 30 days. iTunes currently allows users to choose from over 8,500 films available for rental. Once a movie is started, it expires within 24 hours.

There’s no word on whether or not Apple will be sending the codes to every iTunes user or sticking to the random sample, but if you’ve been dying to rewatch The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants for the zillionth time, keep an eye on your inbox.
